Data Deletion
Your data leaves when you say so.
If you've connected a social media account to MicroBranded or shared personal data with us, you can have it removed at any time. Here's exactly how — no hoops, no dark patterns.
01. Email us — the complete wipe
Send an email to info@microbrandedstudio.com with the subject line "Data deletion request", from the email address associated with your account or engagement, and tell us which social accounts are yours.
- We'll confirm we received it — usually the same business day.
- Deletion completes within 30 days, usually much sooner.
- You'll get a confirmation email when it's done.
02. Revoke access from the platform — instant disconnect
You can also cut off our access directly inside each platform. This immediately invalidates our connection on the platform's side:
- Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → find our app → Remove.
- Instagram: Settings → Website permissions / Apps and Websites → Active → find our app → Remove.
- Threads: Settings → Account → Apps and websites → find our app → Remove.
Revoking stops our systems from reaching the account immediately. If you also want the data we've already stored wiped, follow up with Option 01 and we'll take care of it.
03. Or just ask
If you're a current or former client, you can simply reply to any email thread with us and say you want your data deleted. That counts. We'll handle it exactly like Option 01.
04. What gets deleted — and what we keep
When you request deletion, we remove:
- Stored access credentials (tokens) for your connected accounts
- Profile information — usernames, account IDs, profile photos
- Draft and scheduled content
- Performance data we've stored about your accounts
The only records we keep are the ones the law requires us to — invoices and signed agreements. The full picture of what we collect and why is in our Privacy Policy.
